In a tree stand, you lose essentially 5-7 on the shot behind you. For me, without moving around the tree, I essentially lose 4-6. Same in soft saddle. The whole point of the hybrid is to eliminate the need for a heavy (in relative saddle hunting terms) platform. of course anything is possible, and I’m sure somewhere someone finds utility in it.I have used sit drag, RCH+ DIY fleece saddle, Tethrd Mantis, AH Flex, and JX3 Outdoors JX3 hybrid saddle gen 1 and 2. I am currently back to using Summit Titan Climber after 5 seasons strictly saddle hunting. I highly recommend RCH+Fleece. Its more comfortable than the soft sided saddles I have tried, $40 for rch + $25 for fleece and ……
